I was at a Pixies concert years ago when my husband jabbed me with an elbow and pointed out DAVID BOWIE sitting not 50 feet from us, up in the fancy-folks mezzanine. Bowie! My favorite! I hyperventilated for a moment and considered throwing my knickers at him, then realized I was wearing a pair of reindeer-printed Old Navy novelty underpants.
