What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
2023 was an emotional and physical experience for me.

I decided to participate in a local The Biggest Loser Challenge. I applied myself and stayed consistent. Not only did I win the individual competition, but my team won as well.

Without the support of my teammates, my gym family, close family, and friends, I would not have made it through.

Maintaining a calorie deficit, drinking lots of water, minimizing eating out, training 6 days a week, and, most of all, mindfulness helped me stay the course.

Sometimes, things were so difficult that I was in the gym in tears. But I was there. I promised myself that I would not give up on ME and would not self-sabotage, which is something I’ve done to myself countless times.

But I was determined!!!

Fast forward to today, I’m in a better place mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I’m now a Certified Personal Trainer, and I’m in a position where I am helping others. And, to be honest, they are helping me.

I even managed to slim down more since winning the challenge.

Never forget where you come from. Like I’ve always said, I was/am my first client, and I’ll continue to improve who I am and who I am meant to be. I AM ENOUGH!!!

How did you change your eating habits?
It’s been 2 years and two months since I stopped drinking soda. I’m in a calorie deficit, drink lots of water, meal prep every Sunday, and minimize eating out.

What does your workout routine consist of?
Cardio, Strength Training, and Bootcamp

How often did you work out?
I work out six days a week.

What was your starting weight?
292.2 pounds

What is your current weight?
268.0 pounds *I really don’t go by the weight on the scale. I measure my progress by pictures and/or measurements.

What is your height?
I’m 5’3”.

Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No, but I thought about it in the past.

When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started over and over for years, but became more serious in 2023.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
That I am enough.

What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Stop giving up on yourself. Make yourself a priority.
